Gibson Primary School has excellent facilities to extend our children’s learning. We have extensive outdoor play areas including three playgrounds and two large grassed areas.

We use our outdoor learning environment to stimulate and challenge our children. We have a newly designed sensory zone which comprises musical instruments, different sensory planting areas and a performance area. We also have a large forested area which has seating areas and a viewing platform as well as its own polytunnel.

To maximise the learning potential of these areas Numeracy and Literacy trails are being created.

Click on the thumbnails to get a larger view of these facilities. If you would like to come and look around these or get involved in using them please contact us.
