Our annual school trip for Year 6 and 7 children takes place on Tuesday 9 April until Friday 12 April. A meeting for parents of all children attending will be held on Friday 22 March at 2.15pm. It is essential that parents attend as permission slips, medical forms and the itinerary will be given out.
World Book Day
We are encouraging pupils to come dressed up as a favourite book character for World Book Day on Thursday 7 March. Please do not feel the need to buy a costume solely for this day. We are also holding a ‘Book Swap’ where pupils will have the opportunity to exchange a book with another child.
PTA School Fair
Our Annual PTA School Fair will take place on Wednesday 3 April from 7.00pm – 8.30pm. This is our main fund raising event for the year and your support is appreciated. If you could please send in two unwrapped bottles for our bottle stall and any toys, books or dvds you wish to donate by Friday 22 March. Additional information will be sent home in the coming days regarding bottles and cuddly toys.

Our Hockey Teams will be competing in the regional qualifiers on Wednesday 27 March, while our Rugby Team will be playing on Wednesday 1 May to qualify for Ravenhill. Good luck to all involved.

After School Club
We began our 3.00 – 4.00pm After School Club last week. This runs every day school is open until Easter as a trial period. Spaces remain available and can be booked at a cost of £2 per day through the school office.
Packed Lunches
It has been brought to my attention that a significant amount of packed lunches are being thrown in the bin without being eaten. Having discussed this with the PTA and gauged their opinions we are going to trail a period, until Easter, where pupils bring home all remaining uneaten items. I will write to parents to ascertain your views on this towards the end of the trial period. Thank you in anticipation of your support in this matter.
PTA Quiz Sheets
Our PTA Quiz sheets were circulated last week. The closing date for the return of these sheets to the school office is Tuesday 12 March 2019. All monies raised is being used to develop our Outdoor Learning area for Y1 and Y2. Your support in this matter is appreciated
